Hunt
Hunt is a short film consisting of animatic and fully rendered sequences, and is my Masters Capstone Project with Kennesaw State University.
Taru Sharaguna is an angelic monster hunter doing what he does best–eliminating dangerous threats for pay. But when a mark turns out to be far more dangerous than expected, a routine job quickly becomes a struggle to survive. Is a sum of gold worth his life, and will he live long enough to receive payment?

Development Phase/Test Animations
The first step to this project after coming up with the initial idea was writing the script, solidifying character designs, and doing practice sketches to improve character anatomy. Once the script was completed, progress could also begin on thumbnailing the story to aid in the storyboarding process.
Storyboard/Animatic
Upon completion of the thumbnails, the storyboarding process began in Storyboard Pro. The thumbnails were enlarged and then drawn over, though in cases where the thumbnails were sufficient in showing movement, they were left alone.
Final Version
The final scope for this project was to have the full animatic, and 18 seconds of animated footage. They would then be compiled together to become an animatic with fully animated segments. The animated portions are available below in GIF form.
