As the Stars Fall
As the Stars Fall is a webcomic concept I’m developing with my friend Jane. It takes place hundreds of years after my Senior Project, Starfall, and uses the storyline of the short film as worldbuilding mythos that shapes the characters’ story.
Hundreds of years after the god of night Niatryis and the otherworldly goddess of chaos Ajesmia are said to have slain each other in battle, their story has been buried into myth. A bored and lonely housewife falls in love for a bard with no name or memories, and they go off on a journey to restore the dead god to get his memories back. But the god of night isn’t the only god who can be brought back…
Character Design
Character designs were made for the characters within the story, to solidify their designs for the comic as well as to aid in writing the script. Years of practice in design and illustration come to form in art made for the story concept.
Prop and Environment Design
Various props and environments were designed to solidify the world of the comic, and assist in the comic drawing process. There’s still more to be explored!
